0:08 — 1. Amount
mg or mcg. An amount describes how much of one ingredient is present. A total vial amount is not a concentration.

0:16 — 2. Concentration
mg/mL or mcg/mL. Concentration describes ingredient amount per milliliter of final solution.

0:24 — 3. Volume
mL. Volume describes liquid quantity. It does not identify a medicine or select a dose.

0:32 — Concentration arithmetic
6 mg / 3 mL = 2 mg/mL. Fictional arithmetic only: six milligrams in three milliliters of final solution. This is not a mixing recipe.

0:40 — Check the words on the label
Final volume is not liquid added. Use the exact pharmacy instructions. A calculator cannot choose a diluent or how much to add.

0:48 — Keep pet care individual
Species. Product. Route. Purpose.. A calculation does not establish whether a product is appropriate for a dog or cat.
